Central American
Ministers Meet In Panama To Discuss Human
Settlements
PANAMA -
Central American housing ministers on
Thursday began the 32nd Meeting of the
Central American Housing and Human
Settlements in Panama City, capital of
Panama.
The two-day meeting is presided over by
Panamanian Housing Minister Carlos Duboy,
with the participation of the housing
ministers of Costa Rica, Nicaragua, El
Salvador, Guatemala, Belize and Dominican
Republic.
During the meeting, the ministers will
discuss the main problems regarding housing
and human settlements in Central American
countries.
Among the scheduled activities, Panama will
present a work proposal on territorial
constitution, along with a report by the
General Secretariat of the Central American
Integration System.
A conference on Territorial Constitution and
Climate Change will be held and the Central
American Agenda of Territorial Constitution
will be analyzed.
At the end of the meeting, the ministers
will sign a cooperation agreement.
