Hold Off On Buying
Emergency and Safety Kits
If you haven't bought your emeregency car
and safety kits as required by the new Ley
de Tránsito, you might want to hold off on
it, as the requirement will be eliminated
from the requirements once the amendments to
the law take effect.
All the changes, so far the removal of
points and the elimination of the kits, for
example, will all be removed once the
legislative assembly completes the hearing
of all motions and the amendments are
published in the La Gaceta.
Meanwhile, Tránsitos (Traffic Officials)
will not be fining drivers if they are not
in compliance with the kits.
Legislators still have some 100 motions of
the more than 200 at the beginning of the
week, to wade through.
