Venezuela PSUV Legislative Proposal Begins
While taking the oath to the nomination
committee of the country's northeastern
region, Vice President of PSUV Aristobulo
Isturiz said that this step starts a
democratic process to define candidates in
direct, secret internal elections.
Isturiz made clear that this is because of
the need to have into account proposals from
allied forces, including the Communist and
Patria para Todos (Homeland for All)
parties, as well as other figures that are
not members of PSUV and can be candidates of
the group.
All seven million PSUV members have the
right to run for elections. |
