Feeble Shock Hits Ecuador

QUITO - A 4.1-magnitude earthquake hit the Ecuadorean capital of Quito on Friday. No casualties or damage were reported yet.

The quake occurred at around 6 p.m. local time with its epicenter some 40 km away from the capital, a geographic research center said.

Many regions in northern Ecuador felt the shock.
