BCR To Open License
Renewal Branches On Saturdays
The Banco de Costa Rica (BCR) has come to
the rescue of the tens of thousands of
drivers with expired licenses by opening 16
of its license issuing and renewal offices
on Saturdays.
The BCR announced that the majority of its
branches in the Gran Área Metropolitana (San
José) will be open between 8am and 4pm and
reduce the time to serve each customer from
20 minutes to 10.
In addition, the BCR will be adding license
renewal services at its Cartago, Cuidad
Quesada, San Rafael de Escazú, Plazoleta (Desamparados)
and Agonia (Alajuela) branches.
Currenlty the BCR renews drivers licenses at
32 of its branches across the country.
All renewals are by appointment only which
can be made by calling 800 BCR CITA (800 227
2482).
The branches that will be opening on
Saturdays, beginning on March 13 and to June
13, will be:

San Rafael Escazú

Desamparados

Cartago
Cenada Heredia
Heredia Centro
Guápiles
Limón
San Ramón de Alajuela
