COSTA RICA

Temperatures Hit Record Highs

The last couple of days had been hot in Costa Rica, hotter than normal.

In the Central Valley temperatures have reached a high of 31 Celsius ( 87.8 Fahrenheit), while in Guanacaste a high of 38 Celsius (100.4 Fahrenheit) has been recorded.

The normal temperatures are 28 Celsius and 35 Celsius, respectively.

However, were in the hottest days of the "dry" season and temperatures will continue to soar into the weekend, when it is expected to cool off after Sunday.

So, lots of sun tan lotion, a hat or cab or "sombrilla" is recommended if you have to outdoors.
