Riteve Station Hours Extended 2 Hours Daily

The Riteve vehicular inspection stations have been inundated since the rolling in of the new Ley de Tránsito on March 1, 2010, as vehicle owners rush to get their vehicles inspected and pay the 2010 Marchamo to avoid high costing traffic fines.

For such, all the Riteve stations in the San José area - that includes Heredia and Alajuela - will be open one hour earlier and close one hour later from Tuesdays to Fridays.

The stations will now open at 5am and close at 10pm instead of 6am and 9pm, which hours will continue on Mondays and Saturdays.
