Transworld Traveller Details His 12 Day Stay In Costa Rica

In the summer of 2009, Nicolas Rapp, decided to take a break from his Art Director job at The Associated Press to attempt a one-year overland travel around the world in a Toyota Landcruiser.

Nicolas details his experiences on his blog that includes stories of people helping the expedition with donations, a country by country actual expenses and stats of his year of living dangerously.

In his 12 days in Costa Rica, Nicolas says he spent a total of $130 on gas and $160 for food, grocery shopping and lodging.
