Arias On His Way To Colombia
To Meet With Uribe
Costa Rican president, Oscar Arias, is off
to Colombia today to meet with his
counterpart, Alvardo Uribe.
The meeting between Arias and Uribe is to
discuss immigration, security and drug
trafficking. Accompanying Arias will be the
ministra de Seguridad, Janina Del Vecchio.
The visit will be short, as both Arias and
Del Vecchio are expected back in Costa Rica
by tomorrow.
Costa Rica has been converted into what
security officials call a "warehouse" for
Colombian drugs, where in an alliance with
Mexican cartels, is destined fro North
America.
