Temporary And Permanent Closures Of Alajuelita Rotonda Announced

Work on the reconstruction of the Alajuelita rotonda continues and to speed up the delivery date, the ministerio de Obras Públicas y Transportes (MOPT) has announced partial and total closures of the intersection during Semana Santa.

Beginning tonight at 10pm, there will be partial closures of the rotonda as word crews install the beams across the pillars. The partial closures that could include a total closure for moments will be until Sunday.

The MOPT says that the temporary closures will not last more than 30 minutes at each time.

Hoever, on Monday and Tuesday, the rotonda will be closed off completely from 9pm to 5am.
