Nicaragua Affirms Solidarity
with Cuba
MANAGUA - Nicaraguan Coordinating Committee
of Solidarity with Cuba today reiterated its
condemnation to the media campaign developed
from the U.S. and Europe against the Cuban
Revolution and reaffirmed its support to the
Caribbean people.
In a statement released in this capital, the
Coordination Committee stressed that the
economic and media harassment Cuba
undergoes, is an attack against human and
political rights of a people that decided to
make its socialist revolution.
That campaign cannot cover the huge
humanitarian and scientific work that the
Cuban Revolution has deployed on its own
people and for the human and social
development of peoples of the world.
If there is one people, one party and a
government that has recreated the value of
solidarity, they are called Cuban
Revolution, the document says.
We demand respect for the process
implemented by the Cuban people to define
and exercise their own democracy, said the
Coordinating Committee, and concludes by
ratifying the decision to continue, along
with the Cubans of the island, in the battle
to repel the "imperialist advertising
campaign of aggression" . |
