Coca Farmers and others
Reiterate Support
LA PAZ - Farmer groups and six federations
of coca planters of the Tropic of Cochabamba
decided the eve to reject the pressure
measures of the Bolivian Worker Center
(Central Obrera Boliviana) and support the
dialogue convened by the Government.
The Trade Union Confederation of Peasant
Workers of Bolivia (CSUTCB) and the National
Confederation of Indigenous Peasant Women
from Bolivia "Bartolina Sisa"(CNMCIOB-BS)
issued a determined vote with the coca
planters.
In this regard, it was reported that they
will not join the strike scheduled for next
Monday, which aims to demand a wage increase
superior to the five percent proposed by the

and sisters in the country, they decided.

required to attend the dialogue convened by
the incumbent president, Alvaro Garcia, to
seek joint solutions that benefit the entire
