Chinchilla Meets Top Cuban Official

Costa Rica's new president Laura Chinchilla met with Cuban Vice President Esteban Lazo backstage following Saturday's inauguration ceremony.

The friendly meeting is part of the Cuba's delegation activities on the occasion of Chinchilla's inauguration ceremony.

Lazo passed on Raul Castro's congratulations to Chinchilla, and both sides agreed about their willingness to expand bilateral links.
