Something New!
Public Indoor
Garage Sale
Garage sales in
Costa Rica have
dropped off over
the last several
years, not due
to their
popularity, but
rather to the
insecurity we
live in today.
After all, a
garage sale
invites
strangers into
one's home.
Now, a novel
idea by an expat
takes the risk
out of selling
or buying at a
garage sale,
with the first
ever public
indoor garage
sale being held
this weekend in
Santa Ana.
And readers of
insidecostarica.com
are invited.
The garage sale
allows you to
sell unwanted
items, at the
same time buy
items that you
need, all in the
comfort and
security of a
well lit and
ventilated
indoor facility.
Sellers will
have the
opportunity to
sell their items
to 100’s of
buyers without
inviting
strangers into
their home.
Provided is bilingual
advertising with
driving maps,
directional
signage,
security,
bilingual sales
assistance and
assistance in
pricing your
items.
Best off,
sellers don't
have to be
present, they
can leave their
items for sale
with the
organizers if
they wish.
For buyers there
will be 1000’s
of items such as
furniture,
appliances,
decorations,
clothing, toys
and kitchen
utensils and
just about
anything else
you can think
of.
Your children
are welcome.
There is no
admission
charge.
The sale is in
Santa Ana centro
between 10am and
4pm on Saturday
(May 15) and
Sunday (May 16).
