Presidenta
Heading To Spain
With the excuse
to complete the
trade deal with
Europe,
presidenta (as
she likes to be
called) Laura
Chinchilla,
announced her
trip to Spain on
Saturday. The
presidential
chair hasn't
even molded to
her yet, she is
off
globetrotting.
Although there
are still
details to be
worked out,
Chinchilla says
she is confident
that she will be
back with a
signed deal.
Casa
Presidencial
says that
Chinchilla has
spoken to the
presidents of El
Salvador,
Guatemala and
Spain and will
today be
speaking to the
president of the
European
Commission, José
Durao Barroso.
The deal is
expected to
bring more jobs
and financial
resources to
Costa Rica.
