Slowly but
surely Costa
Rica's Debi Nova
is making a name
for herself and
could hit the
top of the
charts with her
new album
Luna Nueva
released on
Tuesday.
The album is a
collection all
the material
Debi has been
working on for
the last several
years, a work
she describes as
a "good
representation
of I am".
Debi, now living
in the United
States, in
addition to
singing, plays
the guitar, bass
and piano and
like the
Colombian star
Shakira, offers
her music in
both English and
Spanish.
Debi was
recently in
Costa Rica,
taking part in
the May 8
concert at the
Sabana Park
closing the
presidential
inauguration.
But due to
technical
difficulties
experiences at
the time of the
show, Debi's
fans were left
in the dark as
the power went
out and the
rising star's
set had to be
cut short.
