Cuba, Bolivia Share Experience In Fighting Corruption

HAVANA - Bolivia's Anti-Corruption Minister Nardy Suxo arrived here Thursday to share experiences with Cuba on cracking down corruption, the official Granma daily reported.

The Cuban government is currently carrying out a campaign to curb fraud and corruption in about 750 state enterprises and institutions.

The Bolivian minister will meet with Cuba's Comptroller General and also with officials from the Attorney General Office and the Ministry of Justice, according to the National Information Agency.

Cuba and Bolivia maintain close relations of cooperation in economic, educational, political and military sectors. Hundreds of Cubans work as advisers in Bolivia, mainly in health services, while hundreds of young Bolivians are studying medicine and other specialties in Cuba.
