COSTA RICA - NICARAGUA CONFLICT
 Costa Rica Seizes & Releases Six Military Trucks Headed For Nicaragua

The Fuerza Pública (Costa Rican police) say they seized  and then released six military trucks shipped from Germany on their way to Nicaragua. The Ministerio de Seguridad Pública confirmed the action.

"This serves as an example we are state of rights and are not at war with Nicaragua", said Tijerino, following his Government Security Council meeting.

The trucks were landed at Costa Rica's port of Limón since Nicaragua does not have on the Caribbean side.

The minister said the trucks were stopped and seized for a short period to allow Costa Rica officials to check and verify "papers", a right of Costa Rica of any vehicle.

Tijerino confirmed that the trucks, arriving from Germany, are now headed to their destination.
