Spend
Two
Months
in
Detention
The
controversial
boxer
Carl
Davis
who was
detained
by
police
on
Thursday
while
entering
the
national
stadium
for the
Gabriel
fight
will be
spending
the next
two
months
in
preventive
detention
as
ordered
by a
judge.

A
security

the
stadium
shows
David
involved
in a
telephone
call
minutes
before
agents
of the
sexual
crimes
unit of
the
Organismo
de
Investigación
Judicial
(OIJ)
detained
him,
Davis
was
charged
with
allegedly
beating
and
threatening
his wife
on March
24 while
in a
shopping
centre
in
Guadalupe,
Goicoechea,
east of
San
José.
From the
stadium,
Davis
was
immediately
taken to
the jail
cells of
the
Primer
Circuito
Judicial
de San
José
where he
was duly
charged
and
ordered
to
preventive
detention.
