China to
Aid
Venezuelan
Socio-Productive
Plans
Caracas

Chinese
experts
will
assist
Venezuela
in the
implementation
of
socio-productive
projects,
mainly
oriented
to make
the best
use of
raw
materials,
official
sources
announced
on
Monday.
The
initiative
was
revealed
by
Adriana
Tovar,
Deputy
Minister
of
Follow-up
and
Management
of the
Ministry
of the
Peopleâ�Ös
Power
for
Sciences,
Technology
and
Intermediate
Industries
during a
tour of
Zulia
state by
a
delegation
from the
China
Development
Bank.
Tovar
termed
strategic
the
assistance
offered
by
China,
which
will
contribute
to
increase
and
diversify
the
levels
of
production
to make
them
available
to the
people.
Since
its
arrival
to
Venezuela
last
week,
the
Chinese
delegation
has
toured
several
businesses
located
in
different
states,
including
cement
factories
and
technological
and
mechanical
organizations.
The
agenda
included
a tour
of the
Venezuelan
Glass
Inc. and
the San
Agustin
Cable
Car
System,
where
Chinese
experts
were
informed
about
their
operation.
At the
end of
their
stay in
Venezuela,
the
Chinese
delegation,
led by
Xiao
Zhiming,
Deputy
Director
of China
Development
Bankâ�Ös
Department
of
Planning,
will
draft a
general
document
of
assistance
in the
field of
planning.
