Costa Rica Reports New Incursion By Nicaragua of The Isla Calero

Costa Rica's Foreign Ministry has once again reported a new incursion of the Isla Calero by Nicaragua.

The Foreign Ministry says it has photographs of more than 100 civilians entering the restricted area and setting up camp.

According to interim Chancellor, Carlos Roverssi, more than 100 people since August 6 have entered the Los Portillos (Isla Calero) as it is known in Nicaragua.

The Foreign Ministry is preparing a letter of protest, calling the incursion as a violation of the precautionary measures - on both countries - imposed by the International Court of Justice in The Hague last March.
