Costa
Rica To
Get
Electric
Car
"Charge"
Stations
The
Compañía
Nacional
de
Fuerza y
Luz (CNFL)
says it
will be
building
"charge
centres"
for
electric
vehicles
in the
San José
metropolitan
area.
The
electric
utility,
a
division
of the
Instituto
Costarricense
de
Electricidad
(ICE),
says it
a total
of 22
stations
will be
built -
2 for
quick
charges
and 20
for slow
- at a
cost of
us$100.000.
Currently
there
are 260
electric
vehicles
circulating
the
streets,
whose
owners
can now
benefit
from the
charging
stations.
The CNFL
was
short on
details
on the
location
of the
stations
or the
cost for
each
charge.
