Jennifer
Lopez
and
Marc
Anthony
Split?
It
was
unusual
to
see
Marc
Anthony
to
be
in
Costa
Rica
alone
last
month.
He
was
in
town
for
his
concert
at
the
Estadio
Nacional.
The
last
time
Marc
Anthony
visited
Costa
Rica
a
couple
of
years
back
he
was
accompanied
by
his
wife,
Jennifer
Lopez.
Our
reasons
why the
couple
split.
1. Marc
Anthony
travelled
to Costa
Rica
alone.
Do we
need to
say
more?
2.
Jennifer
is so
much
hotter
than
Marc.
And then
there’s
the
height
issue.
3.
Jennifer
Lopez
succeeded
in
rebuilding
her
music
and film
career.
She
lands a
$12
million
deal to
judge
American
Idol. J.
Lo
released
a new
album
“Love?”
and nabs
her
first
top ten
hit
since
2003
with “On
the
Floor”
featuring
Pitbull.
To top
it off
Jennifer
signed
up to
join two
major
films
one
including
“What to
Expect
when
You’re
Expecting”
with
Cameron
Diaz.
Lastly,
it was
rumoured
that
Jennifer
received
resistance
from
Marc
Anthony
to
re-sign
with
American
Idol.
Reportedly
he
wanted
J. Lo
“to
spend
more
time
with him
and
their
children.”
Jennifer
has
since
denied
the
rumour.
4.
Trouble
was on
the
horizon
when
Jennifer
Lopez
brought
her
mother
Guadalupe
instead
of Marc
to meet
the
royals –
bringing
your
mother
as a
date is
always a
sure
sign –
and
we’re
not just
saying
that in
jest.
Did we
miss
anything? |
On
Friday,
the
pair
announced
they
were
no
longer
together.
Lopez
and
Anthony
has
planned
visits
for
Costa
Rica
(and
Latin
America)
for
her
new
television
show,
¡Q'Viva!
The
Chosen,
where
Jlo
announced
she
would
travel
with
husband
Marc
Anthony
and
tour-director-to-the-stars
Jamie
King
to
21
countries
across
the
Americas,
in
search
for
the
world's
most
extraordinary
talent.
Q'Viva!
The
Chosen,"
with
Simon
Fuller,
the
creator
of
"Idol"
was
to
feature
the
superstar
couple
as
they
traveled
the
world
to
find
the
best
performers
in
Latin
music,
dance
and
other
arts
with
the
goal
of
creating
a
live
extravaganza.
The
show
had
no
airdate,
and
it's
unclear
now
if
it
will
continue.
"We
have
decided
to
end
our
marriage.
This
was
a
very
difficult
decision,"
the
couple
said
in a
statement
by
Lopez's
publicist.
"We
have
come
to
amicable
conclusion
on
all
matters.
It
is a
painful
time
for
all
involved
and
we
appreciate
the
respect
of
our
privacy
at
this
time."
"It
is a
painful
time
for
all
involved,"
the
statement
continues,
"and
we
appreciate
the
respect
of
our
privacy
at
this
time."
Lopez,
41,
and
Anthony,
42,
married
in
2004
and
have
3-year-old
twins,
Max
and
Emme.
The
pair,
both
of
Puerto
Rican
heritage,
knew
each
other
for
years
before
the
2004
wedding.
He
was
ending
a
marriage
to
former
Miss
Universe
Dayanara
Torres,
while
she
had
recently
endured
a
high-profile
breakup
with
Ben
Affleck.
