Mars Landing Live On Teletica

The Mars Science Laboratory rover, launched in November 2011, is on schedule to land on Mars at 5:31 am (UTC) on 6 August 2012 -  11:31pm on the 5th in Costa Rica.



Starting at 11pm, local television station Teletica - channel 7 - will air a special program to bring us the landing live and commentary from Costa Rican American physicist and former NASA astronaut, Franklin Chang Diaz, who in addition is president of AD Astra Rocket, based in Guanacaste and Texas, the company responsible for designing an engine for a future manned trip to Mars.
