No Medal For Nery in London 2012

Costa Rican sprinter Nery Brenes failed to classify for the 400 meter dash into the semi-finals.

Brenes, a native of Limón, came in fourt place with a time of 45:65, beaten out by Kevin Burlee of Belgium, who finished first place with a time of 45:14, followed by Britain's Martyn Rooney (45:36) and third place went to Rabah Yousif Sudan.

The Costa Rican was to have made third place, a position he held through the race but lost in the end, to advance to the semi-finals
