Driving
around
the
country
this
weekend
can
be
somewhat
complicated
as
two
major
roads
are
closed,
while
two
others
have
restrictions
due
to
landslides.

National
Ruta
225
in
Turrialba
is
closed
in
the
area
known
as
Congo
in
the
town
of
Jiménez
following
a
landslide
on
Wednesday,
as
work
crews
attempt
to
re-open
the
road
by
today.
Two
backhoes
and
a
series
of
dump
trucks
have
been
at
the
scene
removing
earth
and
debris.
National
Ruta
224
in
the
area
of
Salto
de
la
Novia
de
Cartago
(Bride's
Leap)
is
also
closed.
The
alternate
is
by
way
of
El
Rincón.
Ruta
36
is
now
said
to
be
open
as
work
crews
managed
to
re-open
passage
in
the
area
of
Bribri
on
the
way
to
Talamanca,
though
passage
is
restricted
as a
preventive
measure
in
case
of
future
landslides.
The
road
in
the
area
of
Sixaola
in
the
area
of
Celia
is
also
affected
as
the
asphalt
surface
was
broken
up,
authorities
are
asking
for
drivers
to
use
extreme
caution.
In
Limón
Ruta
85,
between
B-Line
and
Matina,
is
affected
as
work
crews
continue
the
cleanup.
The
Consejo
Nacional
de
Vialidad
(CONAVI)
says
it
has
work
crews
at
the
above
locations
and
others
to
maintain
the
roads
open.
