Seven Illegal Nepalese Detained in Costa Rica

Costa Rica's ministerio de Seguridad says it detained a man who allegedly was transporting seven Nepalese nationals suspected of being victims of human trafficking.

Authorities suspect human trafficking due to the [poor] condition of the seven foreign nationals, who are believed to enter Costa Rica illegally from Panama.

The man detained by police was identified as Ledezma Ruíz, a Costa Rican citizen.
