Gasoline Prices To Drop, Diesel To Increase In Latest Approval

The prices of super and regular gasoline will drop, but diesel will increase in the latest approval by the Autoridad Reguladora de los Servicios Públicos (Aresep).


 

With the approval, the per litre price at the pumps will drop ¢20 colones for super, ¢16 for Plus or Regular and ¢10 for compressed natural gas. Diesel fuel prices will increase ¢5 colones.

The price change which is expected to occur next week - the day following the publication in the La Gaceta which has to occur within five working days of the approval - will see the price of a litre of super fall to ¢723 from ¢743, Plus or regular to ¢681 from ¢697, while diesel prices will go from the current ¢604 to ¢609.
