Take A Walk With Your Dog on Sunday

The Fundación Tierra de Animales is holding its very first "dog walkathon" on Sunday, August 19, in Heredia, in an effort to raise funds to help in the rescue of abused animals and raise awareness.



The foundation is a grouping of several young women, all lovers of animals, who spend their spare time rescuing abused animals and finding them an adoptive home.

The women hold down regular jobs. But their love for animals is such that they created the foundation and work for nothing but the love and joy of seeing an abused animal recovering and in a new home.

The cost to participate is ˘4.000 colones.
