Tornado Raises Roofs Of Several Houses in Costa Rica's Zona Sur

A tornado Sunday afternoon in the area of Buenos Aires in the Zona Sur (Southern Zone) left three homes without a rood and several others damages.



According to reports by residents they heard a loud noise and the saw the roof come off.

Other damage included the electrical service, as several utility poles were felled.

Tornadoes are not common in Costa Rica.
