Bail Set for Doctor Accused of Murdering Girlfriend

The doctor who is accused of murdering his mistress Tuesday morning at his medical practice will be able to leave from behind bars if he posts a 25 million bond, or about $50,000 USD.

The doctor, identified by the last names of Saavedra Zamora is accused of killing María Lourdes Dávila Moreno, 26, at his place of work in Heredia.  

In addition to posting bail, the doctor will be required to sign in with prosecutors monthly.
