Sala IV Gives Green Light on Traffic Bill
If
you feel that traffic fines under the new Traffic Bill are
disproportionally high, it would seem the Constitutional Court (Sala
IV) doesn't agree.

With
a majority vote, the judges of the Constitutional Court rejected
several constitutional inquiries made to the draft Traffic Law. Members
of the Board found that there was no disproportionality in fines
established by the bill.
Amongst other complaints, many motorists in Costa Rica feel that the fines levied in the Traffic Bill are unfairly high.
