Venezuela: Telesur to Renovate its Image

Latin American television network Telesur will renovate its image starting in February, to give its users a better and more dynamic presentation, maintaining its style of showing the news from the places where they take place.

According to a communiqué Telesur works to improve its studies, with up-to-date technology in interactive systems, graphic design systems, video projection and others.

The new slogan will be "Telesur, the Informative Signal of Latin America" reasserting that it is a network made in Latin America, by Latin Americans who know the language, the accent and the reality of the peoples of the area.

With these changes, including changes to the program and the host announcers, Telesur wants to get closer to the spectators, with spaces such as "El Mundo Hoy", a morning magazine containing segments on public health, technology, ecology and others.

Another segment called "Conexion Global" will connect the different correspondent offices and collaborators, while "Edicion Central" will show the most relevant news of the day.

The changes will cover the presentation of the website www.telesurtv.net which will become the second screen of the network, with additional signals from every part of the world. Interaction with users and social networks will increase, highlighting the multimedia contents in every section.

It is worth noting that despite these ongoing transformations, Telesur will continue to comply with its principal objective of informing 24 hours a day in keeping with its own agenda.
