During a massive rally in the town of Santa Barbara, the candidate of the Free Party (Freedom and Refoundation) proposed a peaceful, democratic, revolutionary and socialist project to allow access to development.

In enumerating the problems that afflict the nation, Castro considered that bipartisanship, representing the right and with the advice of the most reactionary sector of the United States government has been responsible for the current misery and impoverishment of the majority.
