Scamsters Target ICE-kölbi Mobile Customers

The Instituto Costarricense de Electricidad (ICE) has issued an alert to prevent people from being victims of the latest scam.

According to the state telecom, unscrupulous groups are posing as ICE emplyees or authorized agents, deceiving the public with fake contracts of the ICE-kölbi brand.

The modus operandi by scamsters is to target ICE customers with "reload" contracts and pocketing the money.
