Costa Rica: 21 Firms Seek 1,200 Employees

At the job fair at Universidad Hispanoamerica in Llorente de Tibas July 18th and 19th, 21 firms of widely varied labor needs will be seeking applicants who can fill 1,200 vacant posts.

Not all the jobs are technical although the most urgent needs are, such as engineers. But other openings range from butchers to commercial bakers.

Available posts are vacant in information and industrial engineering, consultants, accountants, auditors, administrators, sales consultants. client service and security.

A wide range of other jobs are up for grabs including Web developers, process improvement analysts, banking sales executives and cashiers.

In domestic categories are child care personnel while others categories are bilingual (English and Spanish) personal, and fast food restaurant employees. Finally, there are medical personnel such as general practitioners, gynecologists, nurses and microbiologists.

Just a few of the firms present will be Deloitte, Scotiabank, Home Watch Care Givers, PriceSmart, PWC, Budget Rent-a-car, Grupo Inteca, Earnst & Young, Equipos y Sistemas and Cafe Britt.

The university is 600 south, 150 west of ICE in Tibas and the fair will be open from 9 a.m.to 5 p.m. both days.
