No Women Here, Costa Rica's "Notables" Continues Made Up Of Only Men

The group of "notables" formed by the Executive Branch of the government to analyze the national situation and the relations between the powers, is comprised of only men.

The expert group was formed by Presidenta Laura Chinchila over a month ago. And today still does not have the two women that would be making up part of the group as announced by the Presidenta.

The ministro de comunicación Francisco Chacón, confirmed that the group is still waiting on the "positive participation" of women.

The group of experts (see bios here) is composed of Francisco Antonio Pacheco, Vladimir de la Cruz, Urcuyo Constantine, Manrique Jimenez, Fabian Volio, Rodolfo Piza and ministers Francisco Chacon, Carlos Ricardo Benavides and Roberto Gallardo

Presidenta Chinchilla says the proposed reforms on governing by the "notables" will be a "legacy" for the future governments.
