in
the

the
market
in
Costa
Rica,
predicts
national

The
day
before,
Molinos
de
Costa
Rica
had
to
make
an
adjustment
of
10%
on
flour
for
baking,
while
the
managers
of
other
companies
foresee
in
the
next
couple
of
days
a
rise
in
the
cost
of
eggs,
milk,
beef,
pork
and
chicken.
Rafael
Carrillo,
spoke
person
of
Molinos
de
Costa
Rica
warned
about
the
negative
effects
of
the
worst
drought
in
the
United
States
in
the
past
25
years
will
have
on
Costa
Rica.
Just
from
June
23rd
to
July
24th,
a

dollars
in
the

representing
a
42%
increase.
During
this

and
other
businesses
related

food

who
agreed
that
local
consumer

will
increase
significantly.
Luis

of
La

Dorada
said
that
the
value
of
the
egg
will
rise
due
to
seasonal

and
the
increase

raw

The
President

the
National
Chamber
of
Pork

said
that
the
effect
of
these
costs
are
beginning
to
be
reflected
in
the
prices
of
meat.
However,
Carrillo
expressed
his
hope
to
reverse
the
rise
in
wheat,
so
there
will
only
