and
onto
Tilarán
with
access
to

Interamericana
Norte

ruta
1.
With

road
collapse,
travel
from
La
Fortuna
to
Nuevo
Arenal
and
Tilarán
is
by
San
Ramón,
the
Interamericana
Norte
to
Puntarenas
and
heading
north
to
Cañas.
This
detour
takes
up
to
two
hours
or
more.
Travel
time
between
La
Fortuna
and
Nuevo
Arenal
on
Ruta
142
is
about
20
minutes.
