Walmart With Prepaid Quick Pass

Paying tolls on the San José - Caldera just go easier with the introduction of the pre-paid Quick Pass available at Walmart stores beginning on Monday.

See http://www.quickpasscr.com/prepago/

The retail chain sells the passes at the megastores, though customers can also load their Quick Pass at Mas X Menos, Pali and Maxi Pali supermarkets.

The Quick Pass sold at Walmart is different than that at the banks in that it does require the customer have to open a bank account.

The Walmart store locations with the Quick Pass are: Alajuela, San Sebastián, Escazú, Heredia, Guadalupe, Curridabat and Cartago.

Loads are in the fixed amounts of ₡10.000, ₡15.000, ₡25.000 and ₡50.000. Neither the Autopistas del Sol nor the Walmart website indicate if there is a cost for the unit.
