Wednesday,
Costa
Ricans
lined
up
to
enjoy
some
of
the
products
offered
by
the
US
chain
Starbucks,
which
opened
in
Avenida
Escazú.
The
franchise
by
Corporación
de
Franquicias
Americanas
(CFA)
is
the
first
Starbucks
in
Costa
Rica.
Like
a
major
rock
concerts,
some
arrived
as
early
as
4am
to
be
the
first
customers.
Manuela
Velásquez,
marketing
manager,
says
some
1.500
customers
were
served
in
the
first
day
of
opening.
The
store
hours
are
from
7am
to
11pm
every
day.
