3 Out of 10 Companies In Costa Rica Unable To Hire Suitable People

About 30% of Costa Rican employers say they have difficulty in finding suitable people for the jobs they have available. The figure was released by Manpower in Costa Rica.

 

According to the date, human capital with high job skills is one of the most hard to come by employers

Regional analysis indicates that Latin America is on the verge of a crisis of "employability", driven by an oversupply of available workers and a shortage of qualified talent.

The manager of Manpower Costa Rica, Julio Mendez, explained that in Costa Rica, among the 10 most difficult to fill positions include technicians, secretaries and administrative staff.

Mendez said that the difficulty to fill the jobs not for lack of people interested, but for the preparation or experience.

Manpower representative in Costa Rica says it is important that education is connected to business requirements, ensuring that future candidates are equipped with the right skills for the job.
