Sex Tourism
I’m a visitor of Costa Rica and I love the eco tourism , beaches, parks, casinos, bars and I especially love the Costa Rican people but I am also a "Sex Tourist".

What I would like to do is talk a little about my experiences as a sex tourist. First of all prostitution is a Latin tradition going back 100's of years and it is still practiced in most Latin counties beside Costa Rica, Panama, Cuba, Brazil, Mexico, Dominican Republic, and many other Latin counties.

I know most Americans think prostitution is evil and dirty but 29 woman have died this year because of domestic violence in Costa Rica and 1000's in the USA but no prostitutes have died from violence that I know of in Costa Rica. I know there is Aids in Costa Rica but nothing out of the norm.

Safe sex is a must do thing anywhere.

Here is what I found, there are massage parlors, bordellos, bars and casinos. They were clean well run with no fear for my safety and most importantly the girls safety. Remember these girls are somewhat shy and a little scared so try to reassure them with some words like most perfecto , most linda, (cute) ask for there name. Do this point at yourself and the pat your heart and then gesture your palm toward them. What your saying is you love them as fellow human beings and mean them no harm.

I found the girls to be happy as most Costa Rica people are with broad smiles and fun loving. As for the experience it was not just about sex it was the enjoyment of being with a young woman for an hour and having that human touch. Not one angry word was exchanged between us and I am always complementary to them .

The girls make good money (us$10-us$100 dollars an hour) by Costa Rica standards and even American standards. The average secretary makes us$1.50 an hour in Costa Rica. A lot of girls are single mothers that also support their mothers, fathers, and other family members. Sex tourism brings in 20-30% of American hard dollars and Costa Rica needs all the dollars it can get to support its people. Please when you travel around Costa Rica the people live in "tin" houses. Moralists will tell you how repugnant prostitution is but many people go to bed in Costa Rica with food in there stomachs and kids have shoes on there feet because of prostitution.

If it is done the right way prostitution could be cleaned of some of the hate words like whore, prostitute, bordello and changed to sex clinics, sex workers ect. Wholesome is the word and I know a lot of Americans can’t think of sex work as being wholesome but it can be ,sex is an important of are mental heath, we need physical contact with other people. Also I would like to see sex clinics for woman, they need the human touch to.

Please if you are a male, please don’t be a lout you are dealing with human souls don’t be loud, violent, mean spirited, or have kinky sex ideas these girls are pretty wholesome people. Please have clean hands, clipped manicured finger nails, clean body, fresh breath, and treat the girls as if you were on a honeymoon with your new wife. If you see loutishness speak up and defend these girls. They are goddess’s from heaven.

How many times have you passed a women or man on the street and wondered what it would be like to be with that person well in Costa Rica you can experience that for a fee. Please don’t solicit anyone off the street there’s possible legislation to ban street walking and just because a girl is good looking doesn’t mean she’s a working girl. I wish the Costa Rican government would show them a little more kindness they seem to be ashamed of the fact that Costa Rica has prostitutes. Costa Rica is such a utopia in so many ways.

ALSO IF YOU GO TO COSTA RICA AS A SEX TOURIST AND WANT TO HAVE SEX WITH UNDER AGE GIRLS (UNDER18) YOU WILL GET ARRESTED AND SEND TO A RAT INFESTED PRISON . DO NOT GO THERE.

So why is it men that pursue working girls and not women that’s because we have a instinctual drive to plant are seed in as many females as possible in order to spread are genes. Even though we are tricking the system with the use of condoms. Women and especially young women dress more provocatively because they want the best man to plant a seed in them even though that doesn’t always work that way .

I wish the USA and the world would understand if you have a horny male population you are asking for trouble and its part of the reason 9 out of 10 crimes are committed by men in the world.

Hopefully Costa Rica will keep this fine old Latin tradition always refining it towards wholesomeness and safety for both working girls and customers. I look forward to my next trip to Costa Rica for the people, beaches, parks, casinos, and that human touch that we can’t have in the good old USA. All we can do here is read are bibles and prepare for the next war.

In conclusion please leave your stiff, white bread, judgmental self back in America and go Latin and be Latin it’s a different culture . Most guide books say that San Jose is a place to avoid but I found it lots of fun with many aspects casinos ,shopping, museums, sports , culture, and a whole bunch of fun loving girls.
