The Colombian Σscar Yory Dαvila, 31 years, appeared

will be a change in the investigations to fight those bands of
delinquents.

during the previous year 82 homicides in San Jose were perpetrated,
whereas during year 2001 there were 74. However, the number
continues being smaller when comparing it with year 2000, when 108
homicides appeared.
In another count made on national
scale between previous January and October, it revealed that San
Jose is the province where more murders appeared. Second, is
Alajuela.
Nevertheless, that balance detailed
that in October the number of crimes in Heredia rose to 22, in 2001
there were only 20.
However, in the province of Limon
that number lowered. In 2001 there were 43 crimes perpetrated
and until October of 2002 14 had been registered.
