Canada's Governor General
Official Visit To Costa Rica
Canada's Governor General,
Michaelle Jean, on her first
official visit of Costa Rica.
The GG arrived in Costa Rica on
December 12 , accompanied by her
husband Jean-Daniel Lafond, for
a three day state visit that
included a tour of two San José
neighbourhoods, an address of
the Costa Rican legislature and
visits and meetings with several
native groups and Canadian
associations and organizations
in Costa Rica, highlighting the
strong and varied relations
anchored by the Canada-Costa
Rica Free Trade Agreement.
