A coupe of demonstration projects, one of which serves on “96 families” and 6 million dollars would seem to be like putting a band-aide over a gushing major artery. Moreover, if these housing projects do not look beyond the housing problem, they are not successful. People used to living in apartments with holes in the walls, broken windows, trash all over, missing toilet seats, and graffiti outside usually don’t feel quite at home in teh sterile envirnoment of a clean, well-lighted place, and soon begin making the place feel more like “home”.

$6 million for both projects is a nice gesture… and equates to about what the Lady and her entourage spend in a year in foreign travel.

Mauricio, After she has been living ultra first class on the Cosatrricense money. Gallivanting around the world staying in $1000. a night hotels and fine dining. Socking away untold wealth. She would not last a night in Carpio or Limon ghetto. Although she will give a speech of double talk and no action. Just the way it is. Next president same thing repeat repeat.. Sad for the poor.
