To me this is the relevant issue. The law looks bad on it’s face, but the question is what a “political secret” is legally. States should probably be allowed to keep the lid on some things, mainly involving national security though to some extent perhaps also things that put public officials’ personal security at risk. Lord knows that mountains of information in the US is “classified” too. This doesn’t make the US the gold standard, but it tells you that “political secrets” are nothing new in “democratic” states. I would therefore like a clarification before I leap to judgment.

Can anyone give specific examples of what will fall in the category of “political secrets”? Certain information shouldn’t be published, for example certain information about ongoing criminal investigations. My guess is that the law is vague in it’s definition, allowing for way too much interpretation by the courts.
Does anyone know any specifics?

None of your posts were removed. The issue is that the software we are using right now for comments doesn’t put the comments in chronological order, rather ranks them based on ‘social status’ (more frequent commenters get their comments at the top) – so if you actually scroll through all the comments you’ll find yours mixed in there somewhere.
