eating anything from the ocean here right now is inherently dangerous…..certainly shellfish are the most affected, but i would stop eating all of it for at least a little while…three of my neighbors nearly died yesterday and the day before….dangerous stuff

There may be other fishes that are affected by “red tide”, some of the fishes that feed on coral (to mind comes Parrot Fish). Does anyone know if the public will be fully cautioned?

Red Tide is not caused by sea weed. It is caused by a microscopic algae that in large concentrations (an algae bloom) become visible to the naked eye.
