It is my understanding that part of the reason for the disproportionate Marchamo charge is because the motorcycles use far less gas, thus the govt.collects far less tax money. The govt. will always manage to collect one way or another. Personally I wish the Transito would clamp down on cyclists. They are are tremendous hazard to those in vehicles as they drive with total disregard to traffic laws.

If they choose to protest, if it’s peaceful, if it doesn’t interrupt business or people; if it doesn’t cause any problem — good for them. Go for it! It will be one of the few protests that shows responsibility and respect for others.

A FEW of the Motorcyclists drive as though they have a death wish and according to the Government cause and get into a disproportionate number of accidents. Do they even have to take a test to get a license?

The way they drive, with a deathwish, they pay even MORE. They are responsible for most accidents and careless driving, AND NOISE.
The law should also mandate headlights on day and night.
