if you want to stop insect die off use Bt crops they only kill the pests.

GMO’s could cause an environmental disaster as GMOs can contaminate a multitude of forms of flora and as a result the entire flora and fauna system are placed in danger. Bees are dying here and insects that are food for birds and reptiles are also reducing these populations. The reason studies have been suppressed is because they reveal many dangers posed to animals and humans. I hope Costa Rica makes the decision not to allow them. The planet cannot afford more damage.
